Insize Thread Plug Gauge
INSIZE GO/NO-GO thread plug gauges are manufactured as dedicated inspection tools for verifying the accuracy and conformity of internal threaded holes. Precision ground to the UNF 60° thread form, these gauges allow machinists to quickly confirm that pitch diameter, lead, and flank geometry remain within the limits defined by ANSI/ASME B1.2. The hardened steel construction delivers excellent wear resistance, so the gauge maintains its size over long periods of repetitive checking in production environments.
Using a plug gauge during and after tapping reduces the risk of assembling out-of-tolerance components and helps identify tool wear or incorrect setup before parts progress further in the workflow. Separate GO and NO-GO ends provide an unambiguous result: a correct thread will accept the GO end fully while rejecting the NO-GO end. Each INSIZE gauge is supplied with a manufacturer's inspection certificate to support formal quality assurance records.
